Soap

These pieces relate to the shower and washing process after sexual trauma has occurred. The feelings of internal dirt that cannot be removed. The text reveals the thoughts and emotions that happen during that washing process. I will have these in a mass amount which notes the number of women that experience rape.

I continued to take the soap and photograph them both a public and private bathroom setting. Having them set up in these spaces would allow for interaction with various people and a shift in the meaning of the soap as the words are washed away , the text disintegrates.
